Just a reminder that tomorrow, October 8th at 1pm, Discovery Education will be hosting a huge virtual field trip that will draw in students from around the world! Mount Kilimanjaro Expedition will feature students, teachers, and scientists from several different countries, including the United States. Geared for upper elementary students and beyond, this event will definitely meet many of our global learning standards. As they climb, the team will study the mountain's six biomes, atmospheric and geographic conditions, wildlife, and the history of the indigenous people that live at the base of the mountain. This is surely a cross-curricular adventure that you'll want to consider taking with your students!
